Directions

Patch Test & Prep
Always complete a patch test 24 hours before use. Apply a small amount of mixed tint behind your ear or on your neck. Avoid applying other products to the test area. If any irritation occurs (burning, itching, tingling), do not proceed.
To prep, cleanse the brow area with Brow Code’s First Base Ceramide Foaming Cleanser or any oil-free cleanser. Ensure brows are completely dry and free from makeup or oils for even staining and optimal results.
Mix Your Tint
Add equal parts tint and cream activator (about a pea-sized amount each) to the mixing dish. Blend with the applicator brush until a smooth, creamy paste forms. The colour will deepen as it develops.
Apply to Brows
Using the applicator brush, apply the tint to your first brow, working the product evenly through the hair.
Blend & Shape
Gently blend with a dry cotton tip to evenly disperse the tint. Use a clean cotton tip to clean up any edges and define your shape.
Let It Develop
Follow the process guide below to customise your result:
Light Brown Brow Tint Processing Guide:
1. For a Blonde shade, allow to process for 2-4 minutes
2. For a Dark Blonde shade, allow to process for 5-7 minutes
3. For a Light Brown shade, allow to process for 10 minutes
Dark Brown Brow Tint Processing Guide:
1. For a Medium Brown Shade, allow to process for 2-4 minutes
2. For a Medium-Dark Brown Shade, allow to process for 5-7 minutes
3. For a Dark Brown Shade, allow to process for 10 minutes
For a soft ombré effect, remove the tint from the front of the brow a few minutes earlier than the tail.
Repeat on Second Eyebrow
Start timer (based on Tint Processing Time Guide) for your first brow and repeat the application steps for your second brow.
Remove & Reveal
Once the time is up, gently remove the tint with a damp cotton round, sweeping outward towards the edge of your face. Don’t scrub as this can remove the skin stain.
Aftercare Tips
Your tint will be darker and more defined straight after application, however this will soften as you wash your face. For best results follow these instructions:
First 24 hours
1. Keep the brows dry
2. Avoid using makeup and facial cleansers around the brow area
3. Avoid sunbeds, steam rooms, saunas, pools, and prolonged sun exposure.
Day 2–3
1. Avoid exfoliating around the brow area
2. Avoid the use of a self-tanner around the brow area.
